January 2008 updates
Holiday Doors was a success!!! The door decorating penny war
helped to raise over $550 for St. Judes Childrens Hospital. Great job everybody!!!
Spring Convention is approaching (Most likely at the end of March). I highly
recommend that everyone go. Get more info and a permission slip at a Key Club meeting.
Help raise money for the Special Olympics by participating in the Polar Bear
Plunge. Get pledges from friends, family, teachers, etc. to help raise enough for the $75
minimum pledge amount. The Plunge takes place February 2nd (registry at noon and it starts
at 2 p.m.) Get a pledge sheet at a meeting and ask Josh Leis if you have any questions. We
want to get the whole school involved and possibly compete against Central, so get as many
pledges as you can!
At an unknown date (after finals week) Key Club will be sledding with the foreign
exchange students of AFS. We will be sledding at Holy Rosary so come join in on the fun
and expand your horizons! Come to Key Club for updated info.
Key Club is looking to have another movie night. Brainstorm for movie titles and
possible charities to donate the money to. Bring your ideas to the next Key Club meeting.
KEY CLUB
ROCKS!
