How
big is heaven on earth? Often about 75 feet by 150 feet, the size of an
average property surrounding an average house. Now, if you put that
piece of property into the right hands, you can see it transcend the
regular rectangles of earth around it. That is what the people at
Northern Lights Landscaping do.
And this item, two snowball vibernum
trees from Nothern Lights Landscaping, willhelp you get started on the
transformation of your yard. Sterile or roseum is an heirloom shrub
gardened since the 16th century and now grown into tree
form. It grows well in sun or partial shade and is cold hardy to zone
3B. It prefers humus-rich, moist, well drained soil but also does very
well in light sandy soil if watered regularly. With a maximum height of
12 feet, and a head 8-10 feet wide, the tree is an excellent choice for
entryways, garden areas and patios. The foliage is dark green and the
fall color is an orange-yellow red.
But, the key is that starting in May,
masses of big round 3 inch pom poms develop. Turning to pure white, you
will see why this is called a snowball vibernum. Each flower lasts 2-3
weeks, giving your yard amazing beauty. Bid on these two trees, worth
$550.
