11           Warren Bender - Tip to Bolivia - Recent trip to Bolivia in April 2011 as a local Rotarian to visit clinics, schools, reservoirs, and roads funded by Twin Ports Rotary Clubs. BIO: Warren Bender is a Spanish teacher who retired from the Duluth Public Schools in 2008 and 2009.  Currently on the Superior City Council.  Chair of the Douglas County Democratic Party.  Corresponding Secretary for the Superior Federation of Labor.  2011 Lake Superior Dragon Boat Festival co chair.  President Elect of Superior Noon Rotary. 

18           Christian Koelling - Director UMD Men's Hockey Team  - Mr. Koelling be bringing a player to our meeting!  Will be talking about UMD hockey and an upcoming jersey auction to benefit Essentia Health Breast Center.

8              Scott Keenan - to showcase and describe our events planned for June 2012, specifically the USA Half Marathon Championships which we are hosting as part of marathon weekend. The top half marathoners in the country will be here to compete for national titles (both men’s and women’s) and $82,000 in prize money. We won the bid to host these races in both 2012 and 2013.
