Presidential Thoughts
Don Lilyquist
If
asked what do you like best about your club, my first answer would be - friends,
friendships, and fellowship. Then I would have to say, service projects; like the Kite
Fly, Schools Out Picnic and Special Olympics. No I didn't forget the Kiwanis
Auction, with out this great fundraiser, none of these programs would be possible.
All of these projects/programs require manpower, volunteers, member participation and
members.
We are now engaged in a drive for new members. This starts with a list of prospective
members, and we are asking all members to help develop this list.
You help is needed. Your membership committee is anxious to start on this project.
Please leave your list, whether one name, five names or more!
Please leave your list with Tricia at on Wednesday, or e-mail it to her at: kiwanis@cpinternet.com
We already have 20 names, from only 4 members. How many do we need? We need
every members involvement in giving us at least one person or company name to our
prospect list. With that we will have a successful membership drive
"Serving the Children of the
World"
It's not just a catchy
phrase, it's our overall purpose. The Kiwanis Club of Friendly Duluth would like for you
to know what Kiwanis is all about. We invite you to click on the links below to learn more
about Kiwanis.

Rewards of Kiwanis Club
of Friendly Duluth Membership
Through Kiwanis membership, communities are improved, friendships are built,
leadership skills are developed, and business contacts are made. More importantly,
the lives of children around the world are changed for the better.
So please invite a friend to a Wednesday meeting, lets
work on growing our club to 100 members in the year 2007 !!
