4:26 Ponder the path of your feet... We Kiwanians are a busy group. We set goals, meet deadlines, have meetings, answer phones email & text messages - often before 10am! We have become a very driven group of people. Much of the American society is the same. Our economic system is very competitive, thereby we are forced to over-achieve or die. I know God wants us to work hard. The Bible speaks of diligent work. But, this verse shares an important truth we must also remember.... We must SLOW DOWN at times and evaluate where we're truly going. Sometimes we can get so busy, that we are going very fast in the wrong direction. We should regularly spend time thinking & praying about the overall direction we are headed in life. Lord, help me today to take time and slow down. Even a couple of minutes to ponder, plan and pray. Also Lord give me the courage to honestly evaluate and make any needed changes to my direction. I thank you for your promise to always lead and guide me. Show me the path of life and direct our Kiwanis Club to do your will. Amen.
